About Scott Swaffield
Born and raised in Edmonton Canada where I grew up playing a multitude of sports such as skiing, soccer and motocross. I found my passion early on in life was helping people in any way I could and when I started my journey into fitness it was clear a career in personal training was the way to go. I have been in the industry for nearly a decade and take immeasurable pride in being able to have such a profound impact on the lives of so many people.
It was a combination of strength training and nutrition that fuelled my passion for learning more about human anatomy, physiology and how it responds to a specific stimulus. I have spent a great deal of time researching, learning and sorting out truth from myth and attribute this to much of my success. My desire to practice what I preach has also led me to achieving professional status as a drug free bodybuilder and physique athlete on the national stage of Canada. Having dealt with injuries in the past, I understand the importance of correct movement for injury prevention and rehabilitation, having to manipulate my own physique for competitions, I also understand the process, as well as the psychological/physical demands that undertaking a body composition change can place on you. I only ask for my clients to have a true desire to improve and be consistent when working to achieve a goal. With me you will be guided to the best version of yourself.
What’s most rewarding to me is seeing my clients achieve their goals, from improving an individual’s quality of life to helping clients through injury or building an impressive physique. My aim is to educate and build a client up with the tools they need to succeed long after my time with them is done.
